Time for Change

It’s been a while since I have blogged. I have been blessed with a job and while I love it, it has taken all of time and a great deal of my energy. However, I am excited to share that the non-profit I have been actively involved in is moving forward. Thanks to amazing people, our small but mighty non-profit is partnering with the amazing Boys & Girl’s Club. I am excited about this development. I feel, as does the rest of our staff, that our dream to impact the lives of young people is actually becoming a reality! After a great meeting with the director of the Boys & Girl’s Club here in Atlanta, I am further reminded how important it is to be able to impact young people and to help them out of some of the difficult situations they find themselves in! So…I am happy and will keep posting about the progress of our non-profit! We are set to launch in October and I am nervous but very excited as well! So…YAY!!!

3day for the Cure

I‘m sure many of you are familiar with the 3day for the cure walk. If you are not, the 3day for the cure walk is a yearly event that takes place in multiple cities across that country. Participants raise money for research for the cure of breast cancer. Walkers walk 60 miles in 3 days. They are truly inspirational people. Read more →
